Scavenger Hunt Sunday

It is Friday morning and I am leaving for a women's retreat!  So excited to spend some time with friends.  I did really try hard this week to take the right pictures, but...It is all about the process, right?  So fun to have goals while shooting and to make myself try things I wouldn't think to do.  Also really fun to see what others did.

Architecture:

Okay, this is a bit of a stretch.  I wanted to go somewhere with a pretty building, but it rained hard all week; miserable rain.  Great today, but I'm out of time.  This is Sunflower's "Mess."  I came down yesterday and she said, "No, don't pick up my mess."  Turns out she meant her nest that she had built with brother and daddy.  We had seen two pretend Eagle's nest the weekend before.

Rimmed With Light:
I read the information and clicked on every linked photo of rimmed with light.  I think I understand it, but not how to capture it.  I also took 100 pictures of some teacups trying to get it.  Maybe one of the above shots work?  If not, I think she's cute anyway!

Toes/Feet
Clearly I am not good at making decisions today.

This is my Favorite:
Picture (I love her little baby hand and peeking toe)/Toy (Seriously love play people)/Age (When they start to play on their own with so much imagination and independence while still needing and trusting Mommy).  (I might be feeling a little sentimental this week since I'm leaving all 3 kids for 3 days :))

Shade(s):
Still indecisive.  We had lots of shade this week, but too wet to want to go out and capture it.  You'll have to be content with yet another shot of my baby.  It completes the set anyway.

Hope you are having a Fabulous Day!

Great set of photos!!! Really love those toes. When they are that young that have such cute feet.
Hope you have fun at your womans retreat!!!

BTW, SOOC just means don't make any editing/processing adjustments. I personally will still watermark and do a resize and light sharpen...but that's it.

And the second toe shot is just way too cute.

:) Rimmed with light is great! :) It's basically putting the light behind something, it creates this little rim around the subject like a glow. :)
