Scavenger Hunt Sunday--April 9th

Time to see how people interpreted this weeks hunt items.  I'm hoping Animal's Perspective isn't some kind of photography term I haven't heard yet.  Hop on over to Ashley's blog to see some more hunts--there are some incredibly creative photographers participating--very inspiring for beginners like me.

Motion--
I wasn't sure if I was supposed to capture this with a motion blur or not, but really, I'm not skilled enough to have a choice.  All three children ran back and forth for me as I tried different settings, etc. but this one turned out to be my favorite even if his face isn't perfectly in focus.  After looking at my captures I wanted to go out and try again, but they refused.    "I tired, Mama!" said my two year old.

Waiting to Click--
Blowing out candles is definitely a waiting to click moment.  Can you see the moment is between Grandma blowing out the 2 and the 9?  Granted it took her awhile to get both candles blown out so I was able to snap a few.  She isn't a young 29, she is 92--in case you couldn't tell.  I am hoping my two year old learned from her great-grandma that candles are to be blown out--not pinched with her newly two year old fingers.

In Fashion--
We don't have a clue what is in fashion.  I do know none of our clothes are.  We are always at least 6 months behind, possibly a year, because we never buy anything without that clearance tag.  This tag was from March and we bought in April, so it was an even better deal.  Someday my girl will probably fight me, but I think she'll look adorable this Easter in her pink dress and next Christmas in her 4T clearance dress.

Animal's Perspective--
Okay, this is really gross, so you might want to skip it.  The picture I tried to shoot wasn't happening, so per my 11 year old son's suggestion we made a snack wished for by most small snakes.
Beetle Scrambled Eggs--no beetle was harmed in the making of this picture.  It was already on its back and my son flipped him back over to go on for one more day.  (This photo creeped me out all night, so I'm making it smaller to make it a little less creepy.  You can click on it to see it bigger, if you really want.)

Many--
There were many blooms on this bush, and I have many, many pictures of it as I was trying to capture a shot of the one huge bee circling around it.  But the bee was too fast for me.  Too bad.  We might have been spared the horror of the previous photo.

It was so nice to have a sunny day Friday to go out and shoot some photos.  Not a bad way to end Spring Break taking a photo walk with my favorite three kids (I only have 3).  Have a stupendous Sunday!

Great pictures! The flowers in the last picture are gorgeous, and while I don't like beetles, I think the animal perspective one is really creative. :)

Love the motion - the look on his face is priceless!
Waiting to click is a wonderful interpretation and your little girl's face in focus is perfect!
By the way, I scrolled down and I love her hair!
I love to shop the same way. It doesn't pay to pay full price especially on kids clothes that are soon far to small.
And, the blossoms are beautiful.
I loved them all, well, except for the beetles. :)
