But it was raining. So I took 200 pictures in the rain from my front porch. It did not allow for much variety in the angels--though I did spend some of the time standing on a chair.

Who knew mud puddles and road beds could look so pretty and sparkly? Well, not me.

The red branches are a Red Dogwood Bush, also planted last fall.

Truly it is a good thing I'm not always aware of my surroundings. Then I would notice our poor lawn.

I am glad the camera blurred out the uncut, weedy lawn.
I had to include a gratuitous shot of my SnapDragon. He insisted.
Which photo, if any, has the most potential?

these are beautiful! glad you were able to get outside to capture them. i love the red and yellow branches together. :-D
I would say that #2 and #5 have the most potential. Cute snapdragon! :D
I too like the yellow and red branches together!
I love photo three - the focus is great!
What a cool plant! I'm not sure I've ever seen one. I, too, love the yellow & red branches. My favorite is #3. :)
#3 and #5 are my personal favs out of these. Good job!
How fun that you "discovered" something new! lol! And were willing to play even in the rain!
Oh, you had me at, "I'm not always aware of my surroundings". Following now with the hope that you are always this funny because the Lord knows I need some humor in my life! I enjoyed your shots. My favorite? The ones with the reddish tint to them (you can tell I'm as technical as you).
They're all beautiful, but I really like #5. I don't know what it is, the pop of red in the corner, or just how sharp the branches are. But either way, great job this week! I can't wait to see what you do with them!
They are all great! My favs are 3, 5, and 6. And no worries about the unkept lawn. We're still waiting for ours to revive after the winter freeze. Not sure if winter is quite done with us yet though (as you saw from my snowy bird photo). :)
#3 keeps drawing my eye. Love it.
Also like #5.
Can't wait until we have green, uncut lawn for backgrounds!! :D It's snowing yet again here... ;)
