Sunflower

The women's retreat was incredible, but exhausting.  Still no word on when we'll go to China...hopefully we'll know by Friday.  I still enjoy those times I get to sit down and play with photos (which is only possible now because my husband is making the cookies I need to take to MOPS tomorrow.)

Kim Klassen's Providence 100% Soft Light, masked 50% off of the face.
Now he's folding laundry...I'd better quite playing and go help.

Beautiful images! I really love the black and white - so dramatic.

It's so good to see an image of a child in black and white! Of course, this is one precious child, too!

Oh I love her expression in the first shot, so focused. The added texture to the black and white is really nice, too. Very pretty.

Ah..I love it. ;) Okay...so I made most of my payment today....I don't know how long it will take for my Amazon bucks to come in. :) But, I will let you know.

My friend was giving away their Elements at church the other day, and I got SO EXCITED...and had it in my hands...and then realized it was for Windows. :( So, I had to give it back.

Anyway....every day I keep expecting to hear an update about when you leave....I can't imagine how you are feeling, because my stomach is all fluttery for you!!!

I especially love the first shot -- makes me wonder what this precious munchkin is thinking about so intently. She's a doll! Beautiful photographs!
