Scavenger Hunt Sunday

My husband was updating the computer, then my blogs disappeared completely for 10 minutes...no access and gone from the internet, so then we finished out the evening by backing up my blogs.  Now I have a few minutes to work on my Hunt.  These were fun prompts, and I didn't get too creative, but I felt like I had several choices for each prompt.  I look forward to visiting the other hunts this evening.

Strike a Pose:
Yeah, this is what you get when you ask for cooperation.  Much better when she doesn't "know" the camera is there.

Footwear:
My little girl really does rock the cowboy boots passed down from a dear friend.  Love these boots!

Hobby:
Yesterday I spent the morning indulging in my second favorite hobby--photographing nature on a walk with 17 people from my photo club.  Then the afternoon was spent indulging in my absolute favorite hobby--taking pictures of my kids while they played.  Sunflower was on a little trike and Huckleberry also rode his bike to the little store down the street.

Shiny:
The lake was so shiny it reflected the geese as they flew by.

Color Me Green:
In our area we have green all year, but the sun coming out after the rain makes the green even more beautiful.

Have the most blessed of Sundays!

Wow, wow, wow, all of your shots were incredible. I think that is so neat that you belong to a photography club. I have been trying to find one around here that doesn't consist of 60 year old men. :)

Lovely shots! I adore the boots! So cute. That is scary about losing your blog temporarily.

I love the boots photo - a great shot of child in action. The geese photo is lovely, and sharp as a tack, which I admire greatly. And those little stars on your greenery are really lovely.

I think something sinister is going on in the blogosphere! I had to upgrade my IE to version 9, and I lost everything I had scheduled to publish. Had to re-do everything. Since you said that, I guess I had better back up my blogs! Anyway...

As always, love the photographs of the kids, but you are absolutely right. My grandkids give me the absolute cheesiest smiles when they know I have the camera in hand. Much prefer the clandestine shots! The shot of the geese flying is gorgeous. I belong to a photography club too - have really enjoyed the outings we have done together! Have a wonderful evening.

Cedar, I am glad you had fun with the prompts . . . some people seemed to think they were quite hard. The boots on your baby doll are just adorable. And the shiny shot is stunning. Love those little twinkle stars in your green shot.

Your kids are adorable (I'd love to know when they out grow the forced smile - mine are teens and still do it more often than not). I simply love your reflective shiny picture - gorgeous!
