Passion...and Calm

I thought for sure with a challenge only 4 weeks long I would be able to participate and visit each week.  I guess not :(  There is some really gorgeous work out there that I would love to see all of it.

We were out of town for last week's challenge, but I can't resist posting this picture of my Sunflower. It is my favorite photo from this last week.  She views everything in life with PASSION and enthusiasm.  Experiments in electricity are not excluded.
I wish I had half her excitement about life and adventure!
the long road

Last weekend on our trip we did add in a spontaneous visit to some waterfalls.  If I'd known, I would have had my tripod with me.  I always find the flow of water and soft movement of waterfall shots very peaceful and CALM:

Sunflower truly knows how to enjoy life! What a beauty she is...and so much fun to see her. Thanks for sharing your family with us... I have a lot of shots that I took on the Roaring Fork Motor Trail in Gatlinburg...every time I saw the water, I had to stop and photograph it. Your shot reminds me of that trip - lovely photo!

What a lovely waterfall shot - the whiteness of the water really does make it look almost magical and indeed very calming.

That waterfall is beautiful. You did that without a tripod? It looks very sharp.

That water shot is amazing! I really need to figure out how to do that.

Love that first capture for passion. And I'm shocked that you didn't have your tripod for that second one. It's beautiful. Water always calms me too..

Thanks so much for taking the time to participate!
